Starting from Baden-Württemberg the Dettlings settled down all over the world. Already in the 18th century there were Dettlings in Switzerland and the Alsac. The imigrations in the 19th century the name Dettling was spread all over the world.
So there are many Dettlings and their descendants in the USA. But also in Bessarabien, the today Ucraine there still live some Dettlings. Some of these Dettlings from Russia immigrated to the USA or back to Germany. As a result of the search for the own roots some really interesting contacts arised by this website between the members of our family community and the descendants of the imigrants.
